THE CASTLE OF CHEVERNY

THE CASTLE OF CHEVERNY

The Castle of Cheverny, which is considered the most magnificently furnished Loire floor, amazes by the magnificence of its decoration and by the richness of its beautiful furniture.

The castle of Cheverny was used as a model by Hergé (the illustrator of the comic series Tintin), who left out the two side wings and thus drew the castle of Moulinsart. The permanent exhibition ‘the secrets of Moulinsart’ brings back to life the events of the castle for visitors.
